Menopause Speakers
Menopause happens when someone stops having periods due to lower hormone levels. It affects many in the UK, with an estimated 13 million people currently in the Perimenopause or Menopause stages.
Open conversations about Menopause help reduce stigma. It can be a challenging time, but understanding and support make a big difference. Our Menopause speakers work to remove the stigma and provide support for those experiencing Perimenopause or Menopause, both at work and in society.
Book a Menopause speaker for World Menopause Day, held every year on 18 October.

Menopause happens when hormone levels decrease, causing menstruation to stop. It usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, but it can also happen earlier. Natural causes, surgery such as an oophorectomy or hysterectomy, cancer treatments, or genetic conditions can lead to early menopause.
A person is considered menopausal after going 12 months without a period. Before this, they may experience perimenopause, where symptoms begin even though menstruation has not completely stopped.
Common Symptoms
Symptoms of perimenopause and menopause include:
- Anxiety
- Irregular periods
- Hot flushes
- ‘Brain fog’
- Mood swings
These symptoms can affect relationships, work, and daily life. While there are many ways to manage the symptoms, it is essential to provide support and reduce the stigma surrounding menopause.
