Charlotte Williams is a decorated diversity and inclusion consultant, who has years of experience in the field of EDI and education. Dedicated to driving systemic change, Charlotte uses her background in psychology and sociology to inform her guidance on how to make workplaces and society more diverse and equal. Currently working as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager of Impact Culture, Charlotte is also hired as a talented diversity and inclusion speaker to share her expertise on psychological safety, constructions of gender, neurodiversity awareness and racial constructions.

Having graduated from the University of Brighton with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Sociology, Charlotte began her career working as an EFL teacher for EF Education First. Completing a CELTA at St Giles School in 2013, Charlotte also worked as an EFL Teacher for St Giles International and YBM, before being promoted to EDI Consultant and Inclusive Materials Creator for St Giles International in 2019. During her tenure in this role, Charlotte was responsible for creating a new position of LGBTQI+ advisor to influence the health and wellbeing of staff and students, creating LGBTQI+ inclusive teaching materials and staying up to date with LGBTQI+ policies.

In 2020, Charlotte became a Learning English Producer, Materials Writer and Inclusion Specialist for the BBC. In this role, Charlotte was responsible for writing, producing and presenting live lessons, producing the first lesson on inclusion and avoiding sexist language for the BBC platform – earning the title of the highest-rated producer. Since then, Charlotte has been a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant for Voice at The Table Diversity and Inclusion Consultancy, and continues to enjoy her role as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager of Impact Culture. Highly sought after for her expertise on EDI, Charlotte has previously been a guest on the Guilty Feminist Podcast.
