Charlie Hart is a respected diversity and inclusion speaker known for her powerful advocacy around neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Celebrated for her warmth, humour and honesty, Charlie uses her platform to empower people who have often felt different or overlooked. As a multiple neurodivergent individual herself, she speaks with rare authenticity, combining lived experience with professional insight. Her talks encourage audiences to embrace difference, challenge stigma and create environments where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. Charlie’s ability to connect on both a personal and organisational level has made her a trusted voice in the D&I space.

Before stepping onto the keynote stage, Charlie built a career in human resources, where she developed a deep understanding of workplace culture, employee wellbeing and organisational systems. Working as an HR Analyst for Together for Mental Wellbeing, she saw firsthand how policies and processes could either support or exclude people with different needs. This professional foundation gave her practical knowledge of how businesses operate, alongside a growing personal determination to create more compassionate and inclusive workplaces. Her early career shaped her belief that diversity and inclusion must be embedded into everyday practice, not treated as an afterthought.

Charlie’s transition into public speaking began during Autism Acceptance Month, when she recognised the urgent need for more open conversations about neurodiversity and intersectional identity. Building an online presence as Ausome Charlie, she quickly gained recognition for her candid discussions about being both neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. She has since spoken at major events, including the IGPP Neurodiversity at Work Conference, where she has addressed leaders, educators and professionals on the realities of inclusion. Charlie is particularly known for exploring the less visible challenges faced by marginalised groups, while always balancing honesty with hope and practical solutions.

Event organisers hire Charlie Hart because she brings humanity, credibility and actionable insight to diversity and inclusion conversations. As a mother of neurodivergent teenagers and someone diagnosed with autism later in life, she offers a deeply personal yet widely relatable perspective. She helps organisations understand not only why inclusion matters, but how to create cultures where differences are supported and celebrated. Charlie’s blend of professional HR knowledge, lived experience and engaging stage presence ensures audiences leave better informed, more empathetic and motivated to drive meaningful, lasting change.
