Professionally, she began building her profile through journalism and media production, serving as Executive Producer and Journalist for ‘(IN)VISIBLE CITIES’, a project exploring identity, migration and belonging. She also co-founded Balobeshayi, an organisation dedicated to social impact and intercultural understanding. Since becoming a Business Storytelling Coach and Trainer, she has worked with leaders and organisations to develop more inclusive and effective communication.

Her expertise has made her a respected voice on topics such as identity, inclusion and the value of diverse perspectives in modern workplaces. Beatrice’s thought leadership is further demonstrated through her Amazon bestseller ‘Lead With Your Story: How to Turn Your Lived Experience Into Your Leadership Superpower’, which provides practical guidance on transforming personal experiences into tools for leadership and influence.
Beatrice continues to share these ideas on international stages, including speaking at the Omek Bicultural Summit in Amsterdam on ‘The Power Within’. Organisations hire Beatrice as a diversity and inclusion speaker because she combines academic rigour, award-winning journalism, entrepreneurial leadership and personal storytelling to create meaningful conversations about equity, representation and belonging. Her ability to connect lived experience with leadership development helps audiences understand how inclusive cultures are built and sustained, leaving individuals and organisations with practical strategies for lasting change.
I wasn’t confident in my ability in storytelling, but now I feel like I am able to do so and advise others on how they can also use storytelling to help them communicate across the business.
She is a genius at this.
I had used stories in my work and was looking for new ways to approach this, think differently about it and take it up a notch to get more colleagues involved in using stories.
After the programme, the cohort rated the usefulness of both Beatrice’s workshops at 87%, being some of the highest scoring elements of the programme.
I plan on using the SHAPE framework for my next client presentation in a week. Think the things I learnt were invaluable!
