He is also the presenter of the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 show The Great House Giveaway and the Co-founder of BrickzWithTipz, a highly influential property blogging platform that is used by over a million people. Using his vast knowledge and personal experience as a property investor and qualified mortgage broker, Tayo simplifies complex property-related topics to equip the everyday person with the knowledge to navigate their first property purchase. When booked as a speaker, he eloquently delivers engaging presentations on property-related topics, in addition to sharing his experience as an ethnic minority in the workplace and talking about the wealth and property gap in the UK and the impacts of gentrification.
Possessing a strong financial background, Tayo is an Economics graduate from the University of Portsmouth and a certified Mortgage Advisor accredited from the Chartered Insurance Institute. He purchased his first property at 22, astutely paying for the mortgage by renting two bedrooms in that property. Having developed strong financial knowledge from both personal experience and his financial education, Tayo went on to Co-found BrickzWithTipz, where he simplifies complex financial concepts in an engaging and fun style that appeals to the masses and brings a fresh approach to an industry largely dominated by strictly regimented mannerisms.
In 2021 he became a presenter on Channel 4’s The Great House Giveaway, which won the best daytime programme at the BAFTAS, RTS and Broadcast Awards. Tayo recently joined Key to a Fortune and regularly appears as an expert on popular shows, including Steph’s Packed Lunch, Rip Off Britain, Watchdog, BBC News, GB News and Morning Live. For his exceptional presenting skills, he was nominated as best debut presenter at the Edinburgh Television Festival. Furthermore, he was selected to be on the Top 25 Entrepreneurs watch list, which is run by the UK Black Business Week and sponsored by HSBC.
Always wanting to give back, Tayo is a supporter of the 2020 Change a youth empowerment organisation, which helps young people cultivate the right mindset and reach their true potential. Striving to make property accessible for all, he stands out for his in-depth industry knowledge and engaging, charming and charismatic style of presentation. When booked as a speaker he articulately speaks on several topical issues such as gentrification, succeeding as a minority in the workplace, the wealth gap and he provides investment tips and techniques.
