Former Royal Marine Officer, Scotty Mills has developed a celebrated career having gained 32 years of industry experience. Respected worldwide for becoming the highest-ranking Black Officer in the history of the Royal Marines, he has advanced upon his unique skillset and now understands all there is to know about leadership and resilience. Nicknamed Gareth Southgate’s ‘Secret Weapon’, Scotty is now in high demand for speaking engagements as an executive coach and speaker who shares his specialist knowledge on a variety of topics.
Beginning his military career as a Media Operations Officer at the Royal Marines, Scotty is esteemed for the remarkable career he has developed throughout his time serving the country. From working as the Logistical Planning Officer to fulfilling the role of Head of Physical Training, Performance, and Sport for the Royal Marines, Scotty has performed in a variety of high-pressure situations and has pushed his resilience to the extremes. After retiring from the forces in 2019, Scotty now aims to empower a wider audience through forwarding as an Advisor, Board Member, and Executive Coach with the vast knowledge and experience he has gained over recent years.
Having built a strong reputation for inspiring audiences to reach their full potential, Scotty has previously worked as an Advisor for the FA, working closely with Gareth Southgate and the England Football Team.
