Martin Stark

Martin Stark is a leading LGBTQI+ activist, famed as the founding CEO of the World Gay Boxing Championships. Forging a respectable career as a Pride Inclusion Activist and Inclusion Practitioner, Martin has continually provided his expertise in enhancing diversity, inclusion and ethics. Now booked as a diversity and inclusion speaker for corporate events, Martin is on a mission to make sports and society as a whole more inclusive.

With a professional career as an IT Strategy Sourcing Lead, Martin channels his spare time into advocacy for the LGBT+ community. In 2020, Martin founded the World Gay Boxing Championships in a bid to make sports more inclusive. By 2023, Martin hopes to have hosted the world’s first World gay boxing championship. Martin is also famed as the founder of The Yarning Circle, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Forum of the Business Builders Group.

With over 15 years of experience in the D&I sector, Martin has also been a Pride Inclusion Advocate for Pride Life Global. Having also personally overcome great adversity, diagnosed with Addison’s Disease and surviving four major operations, Martin is a courage champion and empowers others to have courage to be diverse and inclusive. Renowned for his advocacy, Martin has been featured in the likes of Out Sports, DNA Magazine and Out.com, along with interviews on BBC Sport, BBC World Service and Reuters.

A highly passionate LGBT+ advocate, Martin is now a popular speaker for diversity and inclusion themed events.
