Mamta Singhal MBE CEng FIET FWES is an award-winning engineer, female empowerment speaker and diversity advocate who has dedicated her career to inspiring women to pursue ambitious careers in STEM, leadership and business. Recognised nationally for her contribution to engineering and inclusion, Mamta is widely regarded as one of the UK’s most influential champions of women in traditionally underrepresented industries. Awarded an MBE for Services to Engineering, she combines more than two decades of international industry experience with a passion for helping women build confidence, embrace resilience and realise their full potential. Through her speaking, mentoring and advocacy, Mamta empowers audiences to challenge stereotypes, overcome barriers and create lasting personal and professional success.
Mamta began her career on the graduate engineering programme at Dyson before building an impressive international career with some of the world’s most recognisable organisations, including Hasbro, Mars, Mattel, Coca-Cola European Partners, Diageo and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. Across engineering, manufacturing, sustainability, innovation and commercialisation, she has successfully led projects for globally recognised brands while developing a reputation as a respected leader within industry. Alongside her corporate achievements, Mamta became increasingly committed to supporting women entering STEM careers and encouraging greater representation at senior leadership levels. Today, she is the Founder of The%Club, a professional network designed to support and connect women working across manufacturing, technology, policy, AI and supply chain sectors.
Throughout her career, Mamta has received significant recognition for both her professional achievements and advocacy work. Alongside receiving an MBE, she is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) and a Fellow of the Women’s Engineering Society (FWES), distinctions awarded to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to their profession. She serves as an Industry Advisory Board Member at the Institute of Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, while also holding influential leadership positions across engineering and manufacturing communities. A passionate advocate for neurodiversity, Mamta is an Ambassador for Dyslexia Scotland, using her platform to promote different thinking styles as strengths in business and innovation. Her work has also been recognised through honours including the Women’s Engineering Society Prize, the British Indian Award for Best in Science & Engineering and inclusion among leading women in engineering.
