How to Beat the Biscuit Tin Blues

Gina Battye is one of the UK’s leading LGBT & Psychological Safety consultants, an expert in diversity and inclusion. Over the course of her career, Gina has specialised in giving advice to some of the biggest organisations in the world, helping them to become a more inclusive workplace. She is a renowned diversity and inclusion speaker who has led powerful talks on a range of important issues.

A specialist when it comes to LGBT inclusion and Transgender & Non-Binary people in the workplace, Gina uses her own life experiences and struggles to help deliver eye-opening talks to the country’s biggest organisations. Over the course of her career, Gina has been the recipient of many awards as a result of her work with over 10 million people. Gina is also the creator of the Authentic Self Process and The 5 Pillars of Psychological Safety, which aim to give people the tools necessary to stay true to themselves and find happiness.

From an early age, Gina knew that she was gay and struggled with her sexuality for a long time. As well as struggling with her identity Gina has suffered from workplace bullying, an IBS diagnosis, and a stalker. In her capacity as a diversity and inclusion speaker, she regularly recounts these traumas remarkably transforming the negatives into positives for her audiences.

Having seen first-hand the impact of hate and discrimination aimed at the LGBT community, Gina now spends much of her time helping workplaces become more inclusive and harmonious for all. Partnering with decision-makers, senior leaders and heads of businesses, she uses her expertise to deliver a variety of training regimes on a whole host of issues. Gina has also become a well-known coach for straight actors who are playing gay characters outlining her own ‘Playing it Gay Guidelines.’

When booked as a diversity and inclusion speaker Gina always leaves her audiences wanting more and her combination of world-class training techniques and unrivalled expertise makes her one of the most sought-after speakers on the circuit.
