Christine McGuinness is a television personality, author and autism advocate who has become one of the UK’s most recognisable voices in conversations around neurodiversity. Crowned Miss Liverpool in 2007, Christine first built a public profile through modelling and television before transforming her platform into one focused on awareness and inclusion. Following her late autism diagnosis at the age of 33, her career evolved into purposeful advocacy. She is hired as a speaker for her openness, lived experience and ability to challenge stigma surrounding autism in women and families.

Christine appeared on programmes including ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ and ‘All Star Mr & Mrs’, and from 2018 to 2020 was a cast member on ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’. In 2021, she co-presented the BBC documentary ‘Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism’, which explored raising autistic children and was nominated for an Authored Documentary at the 27th National Television Awards. That same year, she released her autobiography ‘A Beautiful Nightmare: My Story’, offering an honest account of her personal challenges and growth.

In 2023, Christine fronted ‘Christine McGuinness: Unmasking My Autism’, a deeply personal exploration of masking and late diagnosis in women, earning a nomination at the 28th National Television Awards. She also won Celebrity of the Year at the National Diversity Awards in recognition of her advocacy. In 2025, she was named Media Champion of the Year at the British Diversity Awards and appeared on the ‘How To Fail with Elizabeth Day’ podcast, further expanding her reach. Alongside her memoir, she has authored children’s books including ‘Amazing Me, Amazing You’ and ‘The Magic is You, The Magic is Me’, promoting self-acceptance from an early age.

Christine is hired as a speaker because she brings authenticity and vulnerability to discussions around neurodiversity, parenting and identity. Her lived experience of late-diagnosed autism enables organisations to better understand the realities of masking, burnout and inclusion. She connects powerfully with audiences seeking to create workplaces and communities where difference is recognised, respected and supported.
