Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Asif Sadiq has worked for some of the biggest brands in the world, including The Telegraph and Adidas. Dedicating his career to enhancing equality, particularly in the workplace, has seen Asif become a multi-award-winning leader in his field. Educating his audiences on the benefits of improved inclusion, as a speaker, Asif is captivating utilising anecdotes from his extensive career and personal experiences for an engaging discussion. Spending two years as the Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at the Telegraph, Asif was responsible for bringing representation to the news giant. Under his expertise, The Telegraph developed sustainable, industry-leading diversity policies. Replicating his success for the Royal Pharmaceutical company, Asif has proven his knowledge is applicable across sectors, which he has also previously evidenced in financial services. Most recently, Asif was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from The Open University, commended for his services to diversity, equity and inclusion in 2023.
A former senior employee at the City of London Police and Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact for Adidas, Asif was integral in introducing a future proof equality strategy as the Head of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights. Having worked to bring awareness and support to issues surrounding Muslim police, and as a consultant on tackling hate crime for the United Nations, Asif has gained a reputation as a change agent.
Currently, Asif, who has been honoured with an MBE, is WarnerMedia’s Senior Vice President for Equity & Inclusion. Tasked with utilising his decades of experience to bring such brands into the present with regards to their equality policies, Asif also achieves this for clients of his speaking engagements.
