Spending two years as the Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at the Telegraph, Asif was responsible for bringing representation to the news giant. Under his expertise, The Telegraph developed sustainable, industry-leading diversity policies. Replicating his success for the Royal Pharmaceutical company, Asif has proven his knowledge is applicable across sectors, which he has also previously evidenced in financial services.
A former senior employee at the City of London Police and Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact for Adidas, Asif was integral in introducing a future proof equality strategy as the Head of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights. Having worked to bring awareness and support to issues surrounding Muslim police, and as a consultant on tackling hate crime for the United Nations, Asif has gained a reputation as a change agent.
Currently, Asif, who has been honoured with an MBE, is WarnerMedia’s Senior Vice President for Equity & Inclusion.
