Asari St Hill is a seasoned Diversity and Inclusion speaker with over 40 years of experience inspiring and advising organisations to create more inclusive, equitable environments. Known for his engaging, story-driven delivery, he has spoken at countless conferences, leadership forums, and boardrooms across the UK and Ireland. Asari’s journey began in the public sector, where he built a strong foundation in local government and housing. After starting at Brent Council in 1995, he went on to become Regional Manager at St Pancras Housing Association, followed by over a decade as a Local Government Inspector at the Audit Commission. There, he led service and performance reviews across councils, NHS bodies, and fire services, sharpening his understanding of public accountability and organisational culture. Alongside this, he spent six years as a Non-Executive Director at Waltham Forest NHS Primary Care Trust, overseeing a £300m budget and championing governance, risk and equality.
In the last decade, Asari has worked with hundreds of organisations across the public, private, and voluntary sectors. He launched his business coaching franchise with ActionCOACH in 2011, supporting SMEs and leaders to build purpose-driven, inclusive companies. Through Just Leverage, he now partners with organisations to embed diversity into their core strategy, acting as an outsourced EDI lead where needed. He continues to serve as an Advisor to both the National and Irish Centres for Diversity, and was recently appointed Interim CEO at Friday Hill TMO, successfully leading the organisation out of special measures.
