Before forging her success as a neurodiversity consultant, Rachel began her career as an Editorial Assistant for The McGraw Hill Companies. Her following roles within the media industry included Content Manager for Brahm, a Project Manager for Gapwork and the Founding Managing Director of SugarCat Publishing. In 2018, Rachel began her journey as a Neurodiversity Consultant and Trainer for Sparkle Call, which is where she was able to train organisations on how they can improve their inclusivity within their workplace to ensure the neurodivergent community is supported. Passionate to make a change, Rachel continues to push the importance of understanding neurodiversity and the difference it can make in people’s lives.
As an expert in her field, Rachel does not only focus on training organisations but also offers consultancy sessions for neurodiverse people themselves. As part of this community herself, she aims to focus on their strengths whilst also tackling the challenges they are facing. When Rachel is not found consulting or attending speaking arrangements, she is known to volunteer for the Neurodiversity Association, which is a professional association which is driven to educate about many different aspects of Neurodiversity.
Rachel Morgan-Trimmer has gained vast amounts of knowledge and experience throughout her career and is now using this to educate a wider audience through her speaking engagements. Having gained the opportunity to speak in front of many high-profile companies including Fujitsu and Capital One, Rachel was also invited to deliver the TEDx Talk ‘Inclusion Is Selfish’. When looking for an experienced speaker who speaks on topics such as the power of change: learning to live as a weirdo, what is neurodiversity, why should you care about it and what accessibility is and how you can be truly accessible, do not hesitate in hiring Rachel!
In May 2024 we sat down virtually with Rachel Morgan-Trimmer and discussed the common misconceptions about neurodiversity in women and what companies can do to assist those in need. “Rachel delivered a workshop for us on Neurodiversity and Inclusion that was insightful and inspiring. It was interactive and thoughtfully put together. We especially loved the way it was geared towards us and our industry. I particularly enjoyed how interactive it was and would encourage everyone to participate in and book a workshop with Rachel.”
“Rachel’s passion, insight and original thinking were evident when we both contributed towards a panel discussion last year. I really love her creative approach to training and how she is able to engage the audience and make the content relatable and memorable. Her commitment and knowledge are visceral and tangible and have a powerful impact on individuals, teams and organisations.”
“That was the best hour I’ve spent in a webinar”
“The event went well thank you, the internal feedback was really good. Rachel gave some great insight and clarity on the topics of being neurodivergent, the content was pitched at the right level, included us a business and was delivered with some humour which resonated well with the audience.”
“I just wanted to reach out and wrap up for the call today, thank you both for helping us put this together and thank you, Rachel, for your great talk! We peaked at around 325 people in the audience at one time, and it seems like roughly 380 people joined across the length of the call which is really great for us and higher than we have seen recently for these kinds of calls! From that and the engagement in the chat, it seems like people really resonated with the talk! I know I also found it personally very engaging and had some memorable takeaways.”
”
Rachel was lovely and so well prepared, a true professional.
The content was really well balanced, being informational without overwhelming people and it was easy to digest some of the more nuanced details. I had many neurotypical team members reach out afterwards to thank me for a session around Neurodiversity that was, finally, digestible and gave them powerful insight into some of their colleagues and family members. We have also since had a mini informal community started for parents and carers of neurodivergent people, started from the chat section of the event which has blossomed into something quite special. We have also had a number of people reach out to Access All Areas teams in a variety of ways to discuss some of the topics and for finding community amongst colleagues who have openly disclosed and champion neurodiversity.”
