David E Hull-Watters is an esteemed Diversity & Inclusion keynote speaker, widely recognised for his commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces and communities. Specialising in neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and conscious inclusive leadership, David has devoted his professional life to empowering marginalised groups and advocating for equitable environments.
David began his extensive career as a Special Educational Needs and Trauma-informed teacher, dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning requirements. Driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential, David transitioned into consultancy, significantly impacting organisational inclusion practices. He now holds prominent positions as an Associate Consultant and Trainer with prestigious organisations, including the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion, EMBED Inclusion, and FireBird.
His influential collaborations include projects with the British Transport Police, Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, and the British Library, enhancing awareness and practical implementation of neurodiversity initiatives. David has further guided inclusion strategies for global corporations such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, SuperDry, and Santander UK, driving improvements in workplace wellbeing, LGBTQ+ allyship, and disability confidence.
David’s remarkable achievements include being awarded Best Inclusivity Trainer (UK) at the Global Business Insight Awards 2024, recognised as Corporate Vision’s Most Dedicated Inclusivity Trainer in 2023, and winning a Vodafone World of Difference Award. His advocacy and activism earned him the National Diversity Award (2014) and nominations for the prestigious European Diversity Award and Excellence in Diversity Awards. David notably contributed to Equal Love UK’s historic legal campaign for marriage equality at the European Court of Human Rights and founded the internationally acclaimed Give ‘em Hope Campaign. He is also the author of the anticipated book, ‘Never Blend In – LGBTQ+ Stories of Resilience and Empowerment’, which further reflects his dedication to amplifying diverse narratives.
