Former TV presenter and radio presenter on BBC Radio Berkshire, Hester Grainger is an eloquent speaker on ADHD. Diagnosed with ADHD in her forties, Hester is familiar with the challenges experienced by those unaware of their ADHD condition and the consequences this has on their life. Some of the key topics Hester discusses include neurodiversity and mental health, being a parent with neurodivergent children and a woman with ADHD.
Hester began her career as a presenter on The Wright Stuff for Channel 5, working alongside Matthew Wright, Kate Silverton, and James O’Brien. She held the role of The Booth Girl on the show and was responsible for recording vox pops, answering calls on the air, and reporting out on location. Afterwards, she joined ITV’s Loose Women and Today with Des and Mel as a celebrity booker and assistant producer. Other roles held by Hester included UK PR and Communications Manager for Hitachi Capital, Randstad, and the British Dyslexia Association. Furthermore, Hester also worked as a marketing and PR expert for some of the leading brands such as Sport Relief, Mars Drinks, BMW Alphabet and AXA PPP Healthcare to name a few.

She has been cited in The Sun, iNews, Forbes, BBC News, The FT, The Independent and Daily Telegraph among others.
Being a member of a neurodivergent family, Hester’s husband and two children all have been diagnosed with ADHD and autism.
