Diane Danzebrink is most well-known for the role she has played in raising awareness about the menopause, and the effects this can have on many women’s mental health. After nearly taking her own life after struggling with mental health issues herself, Diane made it her mission to give other women the support and advice they need after not receiving any. Diane founded the purpose over profit organisation Menopause Support and created the national campaign #MakeMenopauseMatter to advocate for better menopause support and care. As a consultant, speaker and educator on the menopause, Diane has a wealth of experience in educating organisations on the subject and offers help and support to fellow women who are struggling with their mental health.
It was after Diane had a surgery to remove her ovaries when her life changed forever. This surgery caused Diane to enter the surgical menopause and she subsequently suffered with her mental health for months after. After wondering if her own experience was an anomaly, Diane devastatingly found many other women were also suffering in silence with no support. Knowing just how difficult it was to navigate the menopause and mental health without any support, Diane Founded Menopause Support. Utilising the skills she acquired as a professional therapist, Diane gives factual, non-biased information to help thousands of other women, giving them the support they need to navigate and regain control over their mental health.
Wanting to raise awareness on the menopause and the mental health issues which accompany it, Diane created the national campaign #MakeMenopauseMatter. This campaign was such a success that in 2020, education on the menopause was added to the curriculum taught in England and in 2024, all medical students will be taught about the menopause. Now, Diane has cemented herself as one of the most trustworthy voices in giving advice on the menopause, having presented keynotes to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and to the This Can Happen conference. Not only offering guidance and support to organisations about how it can affect businesses, she also offers workshops and private consultations to help women suffering with symptoms of the menopause.
As well as a seasoned speaker, Diane has made appearances on the likes of This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Loose Women, Lorraine, BBC Breakfast, ITV, and more, as well as writing about the menopause for the Telegraph and the Guardian. A member of the British Menopause Society, Diane ensures she keeps up to date with menopause training to ensure the latest advice is given to both professionals and the public. Her advocacy going global, with appearances in both the Australian and Japanese news, if you are in need of a speaker whose activism on the menopause has been revolutionary for thousands of women look no further than Diane Danzebrink to hire at your next event.

“We were blown away by Diane and the Menopause in Detail webinar. Diane’s expertise, enthusiasm, and compassion around everything menopause-related was just outstanding. It was such an informative and comprehensive session, and the content was perfectly aimed for everyone. Such an important and valued session, we have had multiple messages from RNLI people saying it was the best menopause webinar/session they have ever been to. There also was a huge amount of questions for Diane at the end and she was able to advise and provide guidance on so much – we were very impressed. The webinar created such a sense of community for all of those on the call and we now hope to continue to keep that alive across the RNLI. A huge thank you, could not recommend Menopause Support and the wonderful Diane anymore!”
